Join Executive Director Genna Moe and exhibiting artist Summers Moore as Moore shares her artistic healing journey through featured photos, sketches and acrylic abstracts in this members-only art talk. “I liked the idea of putting up many, many photos—giving the viewer a chance to interpret a story on their own,” says Summers about her exhibition. Conversation will revolve around her exhibition, Healing Process, and the ability art has to heal the soul. This exhibition is generously sponsored by Aspen Hope Center and Kathy Honea.
Summers Moore's opening reception at The Art Base will be held from 5-7pm on April 13. The exhibit will showcase a retrospective of the past 20 years, with an emphasis on the past 10. Healing Process features a diverse range of photography, sketches and acrylic abstractions—focusing on “where we are now” and “how we got here” as seen through the artist’s eyes. To read more, visit photomoore.com or theartbase.org.
The exhibit will continue through May 4.
